What is an Online Casino Bonus?

If you have ever been on an online casino website you may have noticed that there are categories on the top of the website. These categories are usually VIP, Promotions, Games and Cashier. What you will also notice is the online casino bonus. Usually you will see Sign Up Bonus. These are basically incentives that the website is offering you to play. For example, an online casino bonus may say something like the First Deposit Bonus will give you 100% Match. This means that if you put up say $ 100 the website will offer you $ 100 in credits. This way you can’t cash out with $ 200.

Some online casinos offer three tier bonuses that look something like this. The First Deposit Bonus would be 200%, the Second Deposit Bonus would be 100 % and the third would be $ 50%. These bonuses may sound good and profitable but some sites require a minimum deposit amount. You don’t have to take the bonus but if you are considering it then you may want to read everything the website offers you. For example, some bonuses are just for new players only, there may be smaller bonuses for existing players.

Another catch may be that the site will not let you cash out until you put in the third deposit. Some sites like DaVinci Gold offer bonuses that require you to bet 20X the deposit before cashing out. Then they have a requirement that only when you place a wager on slots will count towards the wagering requirements set forth by the website.

The bonus on some sites are bonuses and others have too many rules on betting and this may cause you to lose the money you deposited before you have a chance to cash it out. Make sure before accept any agreement or place a deposit based on a bonus that you read the Terms of Service. If something looks to good to be true it probably is. Each website has a bonus to offer and whether or not it is a good one that will be profitable is questionable.

The idea of online gambling is to win money, with some of these bonuses you end up losing the bonus and your deposit on one hand. Find the wagering requirements on the bonus they all have them. There will be some websites that offer bonuses that are just that a bonus and others are not. Remember that you have to give credit card or banking information in order to play and you want to make sure that your bonus doesn’t affect either.

Online gambling can be fun and there is some money to be won. If these bonuses do not look like a bonus to you then simply skip over the sign up. You don’t need the bonus in order to play. Sometimes a bonus just simply isn’t a bonus. Play it smart and read everything you can on that casino website about the bonus and while you are at it, read the fine print on everything else. It is better to be safe than sorry.
